In compiling this race list, the RRR Committee took into account survey feedback from members on the 2022 races as well as suggestions for new events to include. 

We included half marathons in February & March to fit in with the build-up to marathons in April/May - but this also allowed us to switch to the 7.9-mile race at Dentdale instead of the usual 14.2-miler.

By popular demand we're planning to hold a second chip-timed 5K in September. 

As you'll see, the series ends with two long races on successive weekends. We were keen to support the return of the Oldham Half Marathon, but also recognise that the Derwentwater 10 is consistently voted the most popular race in the club calendar. So we've included both - but appreciate that many members will choose to race only one. Hopefully there are sufficient options here to allow most people to complete at least seven races before we reach that point in the season!

For the 2023 club championship, points will as usual be awarded for each race according to the finishing order (on chip times where used), with each individual's BEST 7 SCORES to count.
